The Wedding Day
we who have nothing will gain as those who have something will lose. by great understanding the heaven will be lost as though the light has vanished into thin air, but those who use the heart are made to follow through as the night sky that shines within the morning and evening stars that light the fuel of God’s lantern to five brides (nuns) that stored oil in the night of marriage. and to the other five maidens that burn their oil all night anticipating the arrival of an idol. one was a virgin as the other one; faithful until death does us part. the next day the five maidens were fast asleep when this idol returned. and the brides who kept their oil entered into the chambers of God and married. and when the five maidens awakened they realized that the marriage was over. and that day a cleric (their father) came to see his daughters get married but see their lanterns emptied on this day of marriage. without hesitation, he pays five gold to fill their lanterns with oil to also be married beside the five brides.
